Run with it.

It may not feel that chilly outside when you first hit the trail, but as soon as the clouds roll in and the wind picks up it gets pretty damn cold in a hurry. Be ready for changing conditions with the Arc-teryx Men's Trino Jersey Jacket.

WindStopper fabric on the chest and arms blocks out heat-robbing wind, and it's also water-resistant to keep you dry if you get caught in an unexpected drizzle or flurry. Stretch knit jersey on the back and underarms maintains breathability to allow heat and moisture to escape from the inside out, and it's stretchy for freedom of movement. An athletic cut keeps the fabric close to your skin for maximum warmth and moisture-wicking, and a drawcord at the hem prevents chilly drafts. Multiple zippered pockets hold any small essentials you may need, such as keys or a phone, and reflective details improve visibility when you're running in low light.

  • WindStopper fabric on chest and arms
  • Stretch jersey back and underarm fabric
  • Athletic fit
  • Two zippered hand pockets, two back stash pockets
  • One internal key pocket
  • Drop hem in back
  • Drawcord at hem

Here's what others have to say...

Is the material strong or thick enough to handle a 25 pound backpack?

Hey Robert.

Arc'teryx makes really durable jackets, this one would hold up great if you are packing around a heavy backpack.

Feel free to chat or call in with any other questions!

What is the center back length of a medium?

Very Good Jacket

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

This is a very competent jacket. It fits my frame nearly perfectly - I am 6'1.5", 168 lbs, 34/35" arm length. Good contoured fit, no mushroom waistline. Sleeve length great, just a little extra as it should be. Great use of differing materials, placed where they're needed. Good pockets, except that I would like an exterior chest pocket, too. Water repellency is good and helped by Nikwax. Stitching and general construction seems great.

I've been comfortable in it in freezing, windy conditions (haven't experienced colder temps yet) while working hard at 15,800 feet. Look forward to using it for cold Nordic skiing days this winter.

Good review, stating the size you ordered would help since you posted your measurements. Thanks

Great vest, jacket seems great too

  • Gender:Male
  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

I have the vest and hope to buy the jacket when my current cycling jacket is ready to be retired. The jacket and vest are both great for biking, which isn't mentioned in the description. They do not have back vents, but I have no problem when the temps are under 50 F. Angled pockets and fit are great. The material is thick enough and does not catch the wind or make noise.
