Arc'teryx Targa Harness - 2006 BCS

Okay okay, I do love this harness. Its actually saved my life more than I can count on two hands and two feet. I've been using it for almost 7 years now. So when it comes to durability its a Clidesdale! But I recently upgraded. The vapor will be worth the money in the long run. And its flat out a much better harness on every comparison period! Do your self a favor if you love climbing. Buy the next one up! Or buy the new petzl!!

The negatives about this harness. The loops need to be much more stiff for gear. Also the waist portion of the harness never forms to your body like they claim. Its foam padding isnt really as comfotable as they protest either.

Super strong and extremely lightweight harness for gym or outdoor climbing. Sweet to stuff into an overnight or cragging pack for multiday trips or long approaches. Strong as an ox and as comfortable as your favorite pillow. Simple, secure and non-bulky design makes it easy to wear and the self adjusting legs accommodates shorts or layers depending on the weather. A winner.

I have used this harness for the last 5 years and probably should replace it by now. Nothing has fallen apart on it at all, the fit is perfect and I have no complaints. Use it for alpine climbing and rock due to it's simple design and high compressibility. I only wish the gear loops were stiffer for quicker on/off of the gear.
