Not a glorified gardening glove.
- Thin but durable 0.9mm Lezanova goat leather is supremely comfortable and gradually gets softer and even more flexible with age
- Palm features 1.1mm leather for extra strength where you need it
- Light insulation holds in your fingers' heat in cool to mild weather
- Seamless fingertips enable great dexterity for picking up nails or tying knots
- Hook-and-loop cuff keeps the glove secure while you work or ski, or both

A little pricey but quality is top notch on these gloves. They are as described, mid-weight, & well built. I would say more of a medium duty work glove.
What's the insulation like? Are these...
What's the insulation like? Are these really durable? Im not worried about warm but durability.
These are not really meant as an insulating glove but more of a work glove for people who need dexterity. So they would be good at things like driving, ropework, or things like that. However I would not think of them as a super beefy work glove like the kind you'd want if you swing an axe or work on an oil rig, they won't last long in those types of environments.
Perfect for Spring skiing!
Great for Spring skiing (after sealing). When you wax these up, they turn to a green! For me, this was a cool surprise.
I was a bit disappointed with these gloves, I am sad to say. I was hoping for the "ultimate" uphill glove. They are plush, beautiful, grippy, dextrous, that's for sure. Here's what I was disappointed with: the leather soaks water very fast - OK, so I rubbed in some waterproofing Nikwax, but I feel like that was a big pain in the butt that I shouldn't have had to do right out of the box. Secondly, there's no clip for easily attaching them to stuff - there is a tight leather loop, but you have to supply the cord/string or whatever to clip them together (for hanging, etc.). Last but not least, the inner liner is super un-durable. Its that silk like material you find on the inside of a cheap blazer. It ripped an annoying hole during the third tour I used them on... Hardly what I have come to expect from the big A!

Searching for a pair of functional yet stylish gloves for the Beijing winter (it's quite cold here), I came across the Tactician AR gloves and I have to say I am very pleased with them. They have a great fit to them, I'm currently using the medium, and the feel both on the inside and out is just what you would expect from a pair of nice all-leather gloves. Although I'm only using these for city life and not some intense backcountry excursion, I can see myself using them for skiing as they have a nice cuff that extends about three inches below the wrist with a durable, large velcro fastener. In short, I couldn't be happier with these gloves for what I use them for (on average 10 to 35 F).
