Handle cool weather in stride.

Keep running from summer to winter without missing a step in the Arc'teryx Men's Stride Tight. New fabric, Vistrasari, breathes new life into this cool-weather, high-performance tight. The smooth face and brushed thermal back deflects light breezes and retains body heat on chilly days. The hat trick of flatlock stitching, articulating patterning, and a gusseted crotch minimize chafing opportunities and allow you to leap rocks, fallen limbs, and sleeping dogs without ripping your tights. Ankle zippers make this tight a snap to get on and off, and the rear zippered security pocket holds your house key, a few bucks, and extra toilet paper. Side stash pockets hold energy gels or your gloves once you warm up.

  • Blended fabric, enhanced wicking, thermal efficiency
  • 7in side ankle zipper
  • Flatlock stitching, articulated patterning
  • Gusseted crotch
  • 1 rear security pocket, zipped
  • 2 side stash pockets

These keep you running in the cold

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

These are some seriously warm running tights. So warm that I have to be careful not to grab them on those days when thinner/less warm tights would do the trick. I have run in these in temps not far above 0F and been quite comfortable (at least on my legs).

What I didn't expect from these tights was for them to become a base/midlayer for skiing and climbing. On cold days I will substitute the Stride Tights for my normal baselayer (Capilene or the like), and on REALLY COLD days I will use the Stride + another baselayer.

A less technical but still important point: these tights provide just enough modesty that I only feel slightly embarrassed when running into colleagues in the elevator on my way out of the office. Some of my other tights are clearly NSFW!
