Arc’teryx constructed the Women’s Stingray Softshell Jacket specifically to give female skiers an exceptionally breathable, stretchy, weather-resistant outer layer. Gore-Tex Softshell fabric’s outer face sheds snow and the inner face wicks moisture away from your inner layer. WaterTight zippers and a gripper powder skirt seal the snowflakes out, and two-way underarm vent zips let you release a little steam on backcountry hikes. Pull the helmet-compatible hood over your noggin’ for extra protection when the going gets windy. A built-in RECCO reflector strip lends a little more safety to your getup, and whether you’re lost or not, Arc’teryx’s flattering female-specific cut makes you a very exciting find.

I love all things Arc'Teryx, and this did not disappoint me. I am now in my third season of this jacket and I couldn't be happier with it. The fit is perfect on me - I'm long waisted with long arms and I ordered a Medium. Love the quantity and placement of all the pocktes. On cold and windy days, the hood fits nicely over my helmet while still allowing freedom of movement. And hey - it's cute. The better you look, the better you ski... so "they" say. :)

The Arc'teryx Stingray in Dark Ember is between red and orange, and I'd say is more of a subtle coral color. It's a unique shade and not something you'll see from other brands. The picture on my monitor is pretty accurate.

I got this jacket last winter and took it out for the first time this year yesterday and realized how much I've missed it! It has a stellar fit and is so versatile- really makes for the perfect ski jacket. The shell is completely waterproof but still breathable- nothing's getting thru this sucker. I tend to get a little cold when skiing so I layer a fleece or a down piece underneath and I'm always comfortable. There is a reason Arc'teryx is known for making the highest quality out there- this jacket will last forever, and look good doing so! Runs pretty true to size. I wear a medium- I'm 5'7" 130 and it's a little big but I like to layer underneath. I love that it's not super bulky, it has a trim fit but is still flexible enough to allow for ease of movement.
