Description

Tights with enough heft to stand on their own in the cold.

Sure, its Plush Polartec Power Stretch fabric makes the Arc'teryx Women's Rho AR Bottom a good choice for a mid-winter run on the trails. But where the Rho AR pant truly excels is as a baselayer under a shell or insulated pant on bitterly cold days, when the brushed interior face's rich texture wraps your muscles in protective warmth.

  • Polartec Power Stretch fabric features a soft, brushed interior that both traps body heat and hurries sweat to the outer face where it can evaporate; smooth jersey outer face slides easily under layers
  • High elastane content in fabric gives you plenty of mobility for your active pursuits and enhances the next-to-skin fit that promotes thermal efficiency
  • No-rub flatlock seams are strategically placed to further prevent chafing
  • Handy thigh zip pocket gives you a spot to stash your key

This warm, soft and comfortable long underwear has successfully acted as an insulating layer to keep my legs cozy underneath my shell in below zero weather!
I skied Big Sky when they temporarily closed the lifts due to below zero which reached double digit values. Even in these conditions, my legs were more than content. I highly recommend the Rho AR Bottoms. I am 5'7"at 126 lbs and the mediums are a good fit for me.
