A lightweight goggle case that resists impacts and won't take up extra space in your touring pack.

Tucking your goggles into your pack with your pocket knife and headlamp could scratch the lens to oblivion, so slip your goggs into the Arc'teryx Powderface Case where they will be safe. Using the surplus ePTFE, this microfleece-lined case successfully absorbs the melting snow and lets them dry between face-deep downhill laps.

  • A foam structure fits the goggle's shape, resists impacts from falls, and can be folded and stowed away among your pack's small free space
  • The drawcord closure keeps snow and pack dust away from you eyewear
  • Microfleece lining protects lenses from scratches and abrasions

best goggle case on the market

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is an amazing goggle case. It is substantially less bulky than other goggle cases on the market. (For comparison, I have a VZ case that takes up about 3x more room in a pack.)

I keep a set on Oakley Canopy goggles in one of my Powderface cases and a set of Oakley Flight Deck goggles in the other. So, this case can fit some pretty big goggles.

Although the inside of the case seems soft, I always put my goggles back in their lens cloth bag before putting them in this case.

The fabric they use on the outside is a tight weave and high quality.

Fits the big ones

I use the EG2 that's really large and they fit well.

No. I just got my case and I thought there would be an extra spot for the lens. There is not. Fortunately, my Smith microfiber lens "bag" has an extra pocket so I'm okay, but yours may not.

Will Giro Onset goggles fit in this case?

Those goggles should fit just fine in this case. Large goggles (such as the Smith IO-X fit) so you'll be golden!

They fit other goggle styles similar to the IOX (POC Lobes), so yes they should fit fine.

Saves my goggles from cracking

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love having this case for my goggles while ski touring. Even when I have my goggles on, it's nice to know that my other lens is not just sitting in my pack being scratched by the avy gear. Worth purchasing and using instead of those cloth goggle bags that really do nothing to protect your goggs.

protection to preserve

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

In the past I have had a few goggles broken while in my bag, this will not liekly happen with this case. Its also sleek and easy to slide in and out of bags while putting goggles on and off, which happens a lot with ski touring.
The goggles are protected and safe while I don't need them and ready for me when I do. cool idea worth having
