Heavyweight baselayer for intensely cold conditions.
It's mid-January, and you're off to Banff Ski Resort or Duluth (MN) for some fun. Whether you're skiing the Canadian Rockies or running along Lake Superior, you'll be thrilled you're wearing the Arc'teryx Women's Phase SV Zip-Neck Top.
Made with Arc'teryx's heaviest weight baselayer fabrics, the Phase SV top offers core warmth plus ventilation thanks to a combination of fabrics and the neck zipper. The body consists of dense and stretchy Phasic SV fabric that also provides warmth, wicks, and dries rapidly. The Phasic AR fabric at the underarms is lighter and helps remove perspiration so you don't literally chill out after getting worked up. Both fabrics have built-in sun protection, and silver ions encapsulated into the fabric to reduce the rate at which odors accumulate in the shirt. On its own or under several layers, the Phase SV top gives you wicking warmth with stretch for cold-weather, all-day play.
- Phasic SV body, Phasic AR underarms
- Encapsulated silver ions
- Flatlock seams, gusseted underarms
- Half-length neck zipper
- UPF 50+

She loves it
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share
She's often cold on the hill, despite her 650 down. First day she wore this was cold and she kept remarking how warm she felt. It's a really light, relatively thin garment. So, the warmth to weight ratio is pretty high. No itch factor, as sometimes will wool.
