This was a great purchase for my dad who is aging and just got on his skies for the first time in 25 years. He loves this top! It was very lightweight but wicked the moisture away from his skin. He stayed warm and the fabric breathes well. This was a great purchase!

After wearing this for more then a year I must admit that I like this layer. It's thin. Really thin and not durable because of this.

I've ordered it in S and it still runs a little bit long. The color on backcountry photos isn't right ? the shirt is much lighter in real life.

I wear this thing almost everyday, running, snowboarding, hiking and just casual use...unless i HAVE to wash it because it starts to smell like me. Keeps me warm but doesn't let me overheat and is super comfy. Will have to buy another one. Just as a size reference i am 5' 10" and about 130lbs and the small fits perfectly, not super tight but not baggy. Doesn't shrink much in the wash or not a noticeable amount.

This is one of my favorite shirts, be it for high output activity or casual living. It's a very thin fabric and breathe extremely well. Building up a sweat in this thing, one that sits in the garment, takes effort and when it happens, it dries in no time.

Best thing about it, apart from the pleasing aesthetics of the shirt, is that it deals with odor better than anything I have ever worn. My odor is not very intense so others might have a different experience.

I'm 6'2 175lbs, wide frame and the L is perfect. Tight but not skin tight. Basically the shirt cools you when warm and "warms" you when cold. I use it with a base layer most of the time, not next to skin unless I am wearing for high output activity.

Perfection in a shirt

I bought a lot of new gear for a trek through the Alps this year, and I have to say this is the purchase I am most pleased with. I lived in this thing - slept in it, wore it all day, every day for a week+ and it held up very well. Didn't take on any odors, cleaned up well at the end, still looks and feels great.

I am 5'11" 175lbs and I got a large.

I'm 5' 11", 145lbs, 36" chest. The size small fits very close but is not skin tight everywhere on my slim frame.

This shirt is amazingly light and cool. It wicks superbly, enough so that it's entertaining to watch a water spot quickly wick into a huge but slightly damp spot that dries soon after.

As for smell, I have not had any issues with it. Wearing this on overnight backpacking trips where I sweat a lot in the AZ warmth, I'm always surprised how little the shirt smells. When still wet from fresh sweat it will smell, but once the shirt dries it is virtually odorless in comparison.

These are awesome base layers folks! I originally bought the phase SV zip but returned it because the fabric was too thick and I hated zip. So I picked up the Phase SL crew and Phase AR crew. The SL has such a great fit. Nice lightweight fabric that breathes VERY well and does not absorb the 'ol Stinks from the body. It will be a great 4 season piece of clothing in my wardrobe!
