We'd be remiss if we didn't warn you that wearing the Arc'teryx  Phase SL Crew Long-Sleeve Shirt.  can be addictive. It's so lightweight and so good at wicking moisture, you'll find yourself pulling it out of the drawer before every winter run, skate ski, or backcountry trek; it also serves on your cool-weather bike rides and high-altitude summer hikes. In fact, you may need more than one if you don't want to wear out your poor washing machine.

  • Lightweight Phasic SL fabric provides enhanced breathability to regulate comfort during aerobic activities
  • Multidimensional polyester yarn in Phasic fabric wicks moisture with remarkable speed; finer, softer polypropylene yarn features embedded silver-ion technology to fight odors
  • Mechanical stretch allows plenty of freedom of movement and a close, next-to-body fit that encourages wicking
  • Flatlock seams won't chafe under pack straps or with repetitive motion
  • UPF 25-rated protection prevents sunburn on your high-altitude adventures

Great baselayer

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Not tight, but great next to skin feel. I'm 5"11" 160, with a wiry athletic build and I don't think this could fit better. I've been -using this on warm days and storm days under a 100 weight fleece and even at the gym as a standalone piece it has performed excellently in every condition. Little stinky after 2-3 uses, but that's to be expected. If you like have mid to heavy insulating midlayers and do high exertion activities in cold weather - this is the baselayer for you.

Hi Ben, which size you get?
Thinking of trying one of these.

Decent baselayer

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

Next to skin fit, I am 165 (5'10") and these are quite snug.Great baselayer when heading out on the mountain or even backyard with the kids. wicks away moisture very well but sometimes I find that it feels a bit damp after a day of hard skiing (although you never notice the dampness). Overall decent baselayer, I am not sure about the anti microbial layer as I find they do get a case of the stinks if they sit around in my laundry bin for a few day (similar products that have anti microbials i have used did not have this same prob)

Hi Paul, which size you get?
Do you recommend it?
Cheers!

Size Medium.
at full price I would probably say no. I do find they work well moving sweat away but get a bit stinky after prolonged activity. I like baselayers with anti microbials which reduce the "stink Factor".
