    Nice fit

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:True to size
    • Size Bought: M

I'm 6. 2" , 165 lbs., 39" chest and the M shirt fit perfect. Shirt can be worn tucked in or over the belt and looks great!

    Durable, Arc'teryx long sleeve

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit:True to size
    • Size Bought: XL

I've worn this shirt once and am impressed so far. The fabric feels breathable and durable. The XL size has enough sleeve length for even the tallest humans. Looks great, feels great and I'll be looking to this company for other casual / outdoor gear.

    Fantastic

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit:True to size
    • Size Bought: XL

I own three colors and I feel like compared to some on here that isn't enough! Love the shirt, fit is absolutely perfect. I am not a skinny dude (6'1" 250) and the XL fits perfect. I even have a short sleeve for warmer days.

    Full Collection

    • Fit:True to size

I will buy every one of these shirts before they become discontinued. Quite likely the most well fitted shirt I've ever put on.

The accompanying image displays the three button fine detail on the cuffs.

    My favorite button down shirt

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit:True to size

I have worn this shirt a lot and it has been a steady companion every time. The fit is true, I bought a large and am 5'10" 175. The material will wrinkle if you wash it on high heat, but the fabric is light and looks great.

    My new Fav

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit:True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I have always had an issue finding button ups that fit right. This fits awesome. Slim in the body but room in the shoulders. I bought 2 colors just to stock up. Typical guy move right.

    Classy and Comfortable

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

Great fit, lightweight, and classy look. T-shirts are usually my go to upper body wear, but I decided to class it up a bit for "date nights" with the wife, and I could be more impressed.

    Great outdoors or indoors!

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit:True to size

I own all four colors of this particular shirt, which should give you a good idea of how much I like it. The fit is tailored for long and lean types like me (6' 3" 170lbs). Fabric is comfortable next to skin and dries quickly. I've worn these shirts on the John Muir Trail and out to dinner. It works well in both worlds.

    Awesome fit and material!

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit:True to size

It's hard to believe that this shirt is and all-arround clothe. I love how it works in a hiking or just hanging out! The size is pretty accurate. I'm a big guy at the top and I have a small waist but this shirt surprised me.

    Baggy, but good shirt

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit:Runs large

I bought the "Olive" version for long international flights and to use as a semi-professional shirt when doing field work in Bangladesh. At 5'10 165 lbs with an athletic build the "small" size is quite baggy on me, I was positively swimming in it. I would not call this a slim cut at all. It was very baggy in the sleeves and the torso, and moderately baggy in the chest. To be fair, I like my shirts quite slim (the "small" size of Banana Republic's "tailored slim fit" line fits me perfectly for comparison). The torso length is great for me (I'd say I have an average length torso).

However I really like the quality, fabric and design of the shirt. I've tried many travel shirts and most seem too baggy or have had weird designs that render them unusable in any semblance of a professional setting. So I had this tailored locally and now it fits mostly great. The sleeves are still too long, but it's not too noticeable. The armpits still have plenty of room and I have plenty of movement after tailoring.

If the fit was truly "slim" I would most definitely give this a 5-start rating.

Also - the chest pocket is NOT zippered (which is great - I don't like zippered chest pockets).

Hi, I'm also 5'10" 165lbs. 40" chest, 15.5" neck. The medium fits me very well in the sleeves and torso, while I bust out of Banana Republic's small regular cuts (I can't even button the front of their slim cuts). If you are swimming in a small, I unfortunately have to say you either purchased a poorly-cut shirt or you are not truly an athletic build. People throw that term around liberally.

Keep it secret, keep it safe

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit:True to size

There's nothing like peeing next to a guy in a matching outfit. Unfortunately, for some of us that's almost inevitable since it seems every dude at Backcountry HQ has caught onto how stylish, versatile, and comfortable this shirt is. So if you're on the team and thinking of joining the party, BACK OFF-- THIS TURF IS CLAIMED!!! If you spend your days elsewhere, have at it (you won't be disappointed) but take my advice, and don't tell anyone where you bought it.

    Perfect fit and stylish

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit:True to size

This is a quality button-down shirt, fits nicely (not too slim and not too boxy). I'm 6'2 195 lbs and the Large fits well. Material is great for summer wear as it is light and smooth as advertised. I got the Mesa Copper and it looks great with a pair of jeans.

    favorite button up to date

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit:True to size

So, for years, I've generally been unhappy with button-up shirts. Usually they're cut to wide through the entire shirt, or when they get skinnier they're too tight in shoulders. Due to never finding the right fit, I've been on a tee, raglan tee, or sweater kick to achieve the fit and look I'd like.

The comment about fitting V-shaped individuals is spot on. I'm overly excited with how this shirt in a size small fits nice and slim through my mid section, but has plenty room/articulation in the arms. I've never been this satisfied with a button down and I think I've found my brand with Arc'teryx.

A little background info is I'm 5'6'', 155lbs with a 38" chest, so you can can get a bit of the proportions.

Aside from the fit, the material is quite nice and should work great out hiking or cruising the town with friends.
