These are very lightweight pants - would have liked them, but they were too big in the waist and too small in the leg. Returned and will look at other brands.

I'm typically a size 8, but have a pear shape with a small waist and bigger butt, hips & thighs. Do you have a pair of women's convertible (or at least roll up) pants that you would recommend? I recently ordered a pair of North Face Horizon Tempest Pants and they fit in the hips & butt, but were huge in the waist! I am a big hiker and trekker. Any tips would be much appreciated.

would these pants be considered a higher rise, do they sit about 1-1.5 inches below belly button?

I want a pair of these pants but I would wear a size 18 or 20. Large women go outside in the jungles, too. Why don't you make women's pants in larger sizes??????

Hi there Ruth, thanks for the question.
I'm so sorry about the sizing frustration here! I double checked on Arc'teryx's website and the largest size they make for this particular style is a 14 - super lame. I would highly recommend checking out North Face, they make some great stuff in a variety of sizing options. I found this pair of convertible pants for you to check out, they would be a nice and versatile choice for hiking:

You may also want to head directly to North Face's website if you can't find your size in other North Face styles, they usually have a bigger range of size options directly on their website. Sometimes we don't buy the whole size run.

I hope this helps! Happy trails in the jungle!

I hate to link you to the "competition, but sometimes that's what it takes to make you happy and in pants that work and fit. Just remember who had you covered, regardless, when it comes to all the other things besides pants that you'll need for your travels.,default,sc.html
