Good for biking too!

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

I actually purchased these pants for bicycling. I wanted a pair of cropped pants for bicycling . There are times when bicycling with a public destination calls for something other than Lycra . When riding is combined with stores, restaurants or beer drinking , sometimes you just don't feel like being in Lycra. Great pants for cool weather cycling or roll them up a bit when the weather is warm. Great fit and comfort. You can wear your Lycra shorts under them if you still want the bike short padding. A bit pricey but excellent quality and they seem well made.

I own 4 pairs of these and wear them everywhere. So many pockets, lightweight and durable. And people say despite that fact that they are capris, that I still look very manly : )

The pants are excellent for climbing and hiking. I am 6'3" 200lbs and a large fits perfect. The gusseted crotch makes climbing so comfortable! Harnesses feel comfy with these pants on, and they offer more abrasion protection than shorts do. They only go down slightly below my knee (Maybe 3 inches,) but they sure look good! They dry super fast and are super tough. One year of climbing and not one tear or stain. I would recommend them to anyone! The build in belt works wonderfully as is very convenient in that you can adjust the waist without the bulkiness of a belt.Zippers on every pocket keep my things safe when I climb or hike. Great job arcteryx!
