Put on the Arc'teryx Needle35 Backpack for speed focused alpine assaults. The Neddle 35 is a straightforward bag for those that pack light and practice a streamlined approach to mountaineering. Arc'teryx's unique Rolltop Drybag closure opens wide and makes all contents easy to reach. Heavy loads are stabilized through the V-frame suspension and strong frame-to-belt integration. A thermoformed panel rests comfortably on your back while you climb, skin, or hike to your objective. Hydration compatible so you can keep your thirst for climbing quenched. *Available for US shipment only.

Bottom Line: For focused mountaineers.

nice pack but not really hydration compatible

A very well-built snow pack, typical Arcteryx quality. However, it is not really hydration compatible as claimed, at least not like the typical hydration compitable pack we are familiar with. There is no separate compartment for the water reservior inside the pack, and even one puts a reservior in there, there is no way to route the tubing out with the roll top closure. there is one single Kangaroo pocket outsie which one can put the water reservior in and leave the zipper open to route the tubing but that will use up the only pocket availabe.

The best light backpack out there

By:

This was the best best backpack I ever bought. Perfect size for 2-3 days hikes or small trips. Filled to capacity small enough to use as carry-on on most airlines (still you want to double check) so it won't get damaged and tossed around. Sits close to torso, low top so you don't have to look down all the time, very sturdy material. Funky hydration pocket (I can't fit my CamelBak bladder in it, so it's kinda useless), overall the best out there. If you need size up, look ant Needle 45.
