Arc'teryx updated the Women's Motus Short-Sleeve Crew with a more refined fit and detailing, but it still features the quick-wicking, fast-drying performance for which it's known. The Motus's aversion to moisture means you're going to stay more comfortable during stop-and-go activities and when you're really pouring it on.

  • Phasic SL fabric incorporates a hydrophobic interior face that draws perspiration away from the skin and a smooth exterior face that encourages it to evaporate away
  • Mechanical stretch enables the fabric to move with you without the use of spandex, making it more durable
  • Antimicrobial silver-ion treatment helps prevent fabric from retaining odors, and is applied in an environmentally friendly way that does not produce harmful grey water
  • Gusseted underarms and a longer, hip-length cut allow a full range of motion and prevent the hem from riding up when you reach for your next hold or pole plant
  • Flatlock seams help reduce chafing
  • Small pocket with invisible zipper at back hip gives you easy-access, on-trail storage
  • Reflective logo and reflective graphics on sleeves enhance your visibility in low light

My favorite hiking shirt! its awesome!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

I love this shirt. I know its expensive, but the quality and fabric are terrific. First of all, this shirt has actual sleeves. Not the tiny ones that are in your armpit. This is an important feature when you are backpacking. At least for me it is. I want my sleeves under my straps at all times. And most women's shirts have short, little sleeves. The material really wicks away moisture and breathes yet it is durable. It also has a nice shape to it. I think it runs a little small though. But this depends on how you like to wear your shirts. I do not want mine tight. I am 5'3" and 128 lbs and a 36D and a 25 " waist and I ordered a LARGE. It fits great. I feel a medium would be too short in length. The large on me does not cling to me, or show all my imperfections! *sigh* - If you like your tops tighter and you have my measurements you could go for a medium. Hope this helps!
