Description

It's like the other cute running skorts you've seen, except it's better.

Running skorts are all the rage these days (and why wouldn't they be ... they're cute), so Arc'teryx set about designing a better-than-average one. The Arc'teryx Mentum Skort weighs a mere four grams, boasts a super-smooth fit, and stretches to let you move with full freedom. And a wicking inner short means you can enjoy skirt style without flashing your bum on the trail. Flatlocked seams will ensure you're chafe-free miles into your race, and a secure key/card pocket on the inner brief gives you a safe spot for your car key.

what is a gussetted crotch? I'm looking for a cycling skort, comfortable, yet flattering... so I need to have some kind of chamois with them, any suggestions?

Try going to realcyclist (backcountry's road bike website) and search skort. I would suggest the Castelli Elle skort, as Castelli is my top choice for road bike apparel.

Oddly enough, I prefer to have my cycling skirt not have a chamois. That way, I choose the padded shorts I like and can use the the shorts on its own or under different skirts or shorts.

The Arc'teryx Mentum has a small stash pocket on the leg for small essentials.
