The Arc'teryx Maia 75 Women's Backpack has enough cargo capacity for a week on the trail, support to keep you comfortable, and completely waterproof construction to keep gear dry. This roll-top pack uses waterproof 420ACT fabric with fully taped seams to ensure not a single drop of moisture gets on your gear when the rain pours. Adjustable shoulder straps and a pivoting waist-belt help support weight along with the dual 7075 aluminum stays. Arc'teryx gave the Maia 75 Backpack a sealable hose port and hydration sleeve for your water bladder. Load the 4576cu inch (medium size) main compartment, stash smaller gear in the front pocket and lid, and enjoy a week in the backcountry.

Bottom Line: A week in the rain feels like a walk in the park when you carry your gear in the Arc'teryx Maia 75 Women's Backpack.

backpacking or ice climing???

I work at an outdoor goods store and we dont sell this particular pack but by the looks of it and what its made of its meant more for ice climbing and mountaineering and such. I could be wrong but im not quit the expert. I'm looking for a pack for myself and like the Kelty Red Cloud 6650 but I do backpacking in the summer and i was wondering if this pack is a bit much for summer use alone.

It depends on what the summer weather looks like. If it's rainy, I'd say this is perfect (although a little big)
