for starters it fits incredibly well. I have a rather large head, and I have more then enough room. it wraps around the back of my head well and fits snug under the bottom of the back of my head. very secure. it could handle windy conditions very well. ive used it trail running once and for a heavy plyometric workout twice and its been great for both. because it doesn't really retain any sweat, the liner doesn't max out and start dripping insane amounts of sweat into your eyes. however, due to the fact that it doesn't really have anywhere for the sweat to soak into, it could be a problem for a heavy sweater... potentially.
I sweat heavy, and on my 6 mile run in 90 degree heat, the sweat dripped off the brim as if it were redirected there(thankfully). not at any point did my head feel hot and nor did I get sick of having it on. and if for some reason it did, this thing is so light it wouldn't have been a problem if I needed to stick it in my backpack.

also, if you run at night, the logo is reflective which is a nice added feature.

it does dry quick as well. and it takes quite a lot of sweating for it to get soaked.

I see no downsides to this hat. light, very durable, well made, reflective, amazing fit. everything I look for. I highly recommend this. as I would most arcteryx produces.

I wouldn't wear this hat out and about, but on the trail or for physical activities, it is definitely my go-to.
