Arc'teryx Gothic Hooded Sweater - Unisex - 2007 BCS

This sweater keeps you from looking like a dork. Its warm but not exceedingly so. The fabric is real nice. The hood isn't helmet compatible but it is nice and big. I'm not sure it runs big, maybe just a bit. I have a L Theta-AR and it fits under it. It also sheds water pretty well. The zipper has a nice wind-proof backing to it.

The only thing I don't really like is the lefty zipper, otherwise its badass.

Bought this jacket for my son for Christmas. Great fit, great sleeve length, & comfortable. Stated last night it is the best jacket he has ever bought, never takes it off. Has bought gear before at this site & loves the quality of clothing.

It's like wearing a bear hide. Fit is roomy and stylish. Not a technical piece, but super comfy for around town. The hood is fairly deep which is excellent for the incognito, but limits peripheral vision. No means to adjust hood which is the only thing I would add.

I loved the fabric this is made of. The fit was very off. I am a normal Large. I ordered a L and it was to short at the waist, and the arms were way to wide. It looks good...

I have one that is probably 6 years old and it is still my favourite. I bought one for my wife and finally would have bought another for me (since it is wearing out after wearing too much), but I need a medium. Get more in!

This jacket is really warm. The fleece liner is comfortable against the skin and putting on the hood makes everything toasty. The sleeves look great. They are clean and simple, but they cannot be cinched down, so cold air can creep up the sleeves.

So I went through three different sizes and still couldn't find one that felt like it really fit. The material is amazing but just didn't seem worth it when it looked super baggy and weird.

This thing rocks. The unique wool/fleece blend is an amazing fabric. Love it, and wear it almost every day!
Don't buy it too big!

This hoody is amazing! A little oversized so use a smaller size when ordering. Very comfortable and warm for a hoody. Arc'teryx rocks!!!

I own an Arc’teryx softshell and totally love it. When I tried this hoody on in the store it really made an impression though. Great material, great cut, great hood. The pockets are huge but don't feel bulky. It was the best possible jacket for traveling around Scandinavia's chilly and occasionally rainy climate. It looks great and functions exactly as I would expect from this company. Definitely worth the money. Only gripe: there is no internal iPod pocket in the front like my other jackets.

This hoody has instantly become my favorite piece of clothing! Travels perfectly between my dual worlds of skiing in Aspen and wandering the streets of San Francisco in the wee hours after leaving a dark underground club.. I wear a size large sidewinder sv for skiing, and ordered this in large after having the opportunity to try on a medium (i read the reviews about ordering small). I wanted this as outerwear though, not insulation. IMHO, stick with the same size you wear with other arc'teryx stuff, this is a bit over-sized because it really looks better that way.. there are much better sport insulation pieces to go under your arc'teryx shell, like a monkey man fleece...

I am very satisfied about it, but a little overpriced.

This Hoody is well built garment w/ a stout zipper. The "fitted" feel of the Hoody was impressive immediately. This is another classic from Arcteryx. Thanks for the prompt delivery and follow up.
