The Arc'teryx Men's Gamut Short can handle any number of activities and is good for doing nothing too. A longer cut protects you from the sun and saves you from looking like a dork. The Gamut's baggier fit stays loose when at play and is relaxed enough to let you rest when you need it. Made with a gusseted crotch for ease of movement, these shorts won't leave you hanging while bouldering or playing hacky sack. Large back pockets hold onto your valuables as you make your way up overhanging obstacles. Built for the rocks, these shorts use heavy cotton canvas with double and triple needle construction for a lifetime of use. *Available for US shipment only.

And I hate to see them slipping from the market for some reason. I have three pairs, and they are my everyday, just-got-home-from-work shorts. The material is good, they look great, and not being 15, I love shorts that are cut above the knee. They're incredibly comfortable, and look good around town as well as on the trail.

i ordered these for my partner, but liked them so much i wear them hiking. they are not really stylish for much else but highly practicle! the waistband is soft and comfortable. they fit nice and loose and are great for hiking. durable fabric and well made. the sizing was correct, and the have a comfortable lenght.

These shorts are the most comfortable I've ever owned. Not too short, not too long. The fleece inside the waist band says it all.

Love the shirt. It works best when a softshell is too much and you want a little wind protection. Extremely packable.
