So the deer in the middle is just about to bite my crotch in this picture. The shorts handled it a lot better than I did.

Great material, as with any Arc’teryx product. In length they shrink about one inch. Only gripe, they come out of the dryer very wrinkled.

Got these shorts for a trip to Japan in the summer. They kept me cool, dry, and chafe-free in the ridiculous humidity and heat Japan has to offer. I ordered a 28, which is the minimum size I can wear (I am 6' 140 lbs) and they fit a little snug, but certainly not tight. The material is solid, very sturdy, and the brushed waistband is really comfy. All-in-all a great pair of shorts. That said, not sure if I would pay retail for them (I picked them up for about 20 bucks).
