not great shirt

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I took this out of the package and tried it on and could not get my hands through he cuffs of the sleeves. I ordered a large and am a 6 foot tall male. I forced my hands though and the shirt just hung there not hugging my body at all. I took it off and sent it back. I would expect a lot more for a high performance shirt, like a snug fit and elastic cuffs.

Fantastic Mountain Jersey

I purchased one of these a year ago on a whim, not being certain how useful it would be. Now I own four of them (in different colors). It has become my indispensable mountain jersey for hiking, climbing, skiing, and snowshoeing. On cool days, I wear it as a jersey over either a short-sleeve or long-sleeve baselayer. It always seems to add the ideal amount of warmth over a broad range of temperatures and activity levels. The wispy body fabric breathes so well, it never overheats me. But the best part is the sleeves: They are made from a heavier, warmer, and more durable fabric. I tend to have a warm torso and cold arms when exercising in cold weather, and this dual fabric construction adds some very welcome arm warmth. Think of as a "negative vest"! Obviously, the heavier sleeves are very advantageous for climbing and bushwhacking too. When I stop for a snack, I find that a softshell jacket slides on easily over the silky fabric. My only gripe is that it doesn't come in enough colors...but that would just mean that I have to buy more!
PS: I'm 5'11" tall x 32" waist x 180 lbs x long arms; the Medium size fits me perfectly.

Great shirt for the right situation

Great construction, fabric lightweight and smooth, 5"11 145lbs, small is a little big but works, if using for running be aware your arms will heat up due to the stretch woven fabric that reinforces the arms and shoulders, doesn't breath well. Shirt looks great and is good for light hiking or biking thru brush.
