Arc’teryx made the Women’s Escala Strap Tank from butter-soft, stretchy materials and incorporated a shelf bra for plenty of support. The feminine, strappy Escala Tank can accompany you on any run, climb, hike, or yoga class—and with its excellent wicking properties and four-way stretch, it will only help you focus.

Bottom Line: Until you look in the mirror and say, “Man! I need this top in a few more colors!”

Adds some sexxy to sporty

I'm a fan of this shirt for kayaking, hiking, running, just chillin'. I have the grey in a medium and it fits well for my 35-29-39 tall, flat-chested frame. The straps are the best (visual) feature on this shirt. The only reason it doesn't get full stars is that my heart belongs to all things merino and gortex (synthetics are on my B team).

Great base layer

By:

I have this tank top in the Lobelia and Emberglow. The price on SAC is always nice, but the shirt itsself fits awesome. I wore it as my next to skin layer on an avalanche class when we had to spend about 5 hours a day hiking on splitboards. I also wear it as a base layer biking in the winter to work (-10F to 30F). The shelf bra is a joke if you're above a B cup, but I find it works fine for my modest chest. It moves with me and doesn't shift, and it wicks pretty effectively. Also, it accomodates my unproportional hips. The medium fits great (me: 36-29-40).

Not Impressed

Needs more length. Got what should have been the appropriate size according to the chart, it was HUGE on me and even then it wasn't really as long as I'd like.

Nice top, but didnt fit me

By:

This is a nice top for working out, good construction, pretty colors, technical fabric. Unfortunately for me, it is slightly fitted and hugged me a little too snugly around my middle than I prefer, so I returned it.

Wanted to Love this top

By:

I really liked the fabric, color and the style. I ordered a large for the length. I must not be busty enough for the large in this style at 36C. It did not fit well in the chest area but I think the medium would have been better for the top. I thought is was just right through the middle tight but too tight, it was long enough and at 5'11" length usually an issue.

Quality Top

By:

This top is made well, out of quality fabric with a nice feel. Very flattering on. I would recommend going up a size...I wear a 6, but needed a medium in this top. The length was good on me....lower hip level, but I'm 5'2".

I have this in Lobelia also and love it! It's true to size, soft and comfortable and the straps don't pinch if you wear this all day. Buy one!

Got the the heathered black and really, REALLY like it! Great technical fabric, well made with non-chafing seams, very flattering... don't listen to me, try it for yourself!

I want another one!

This top is wonderful. I wore it running the first day I got it. It has a very flattering fit, not too tight around the middle and highlights the shoulders well. It kept me comfortable during the run - no chafing and stayed in place! I plan on wearing it for climbing very soon! I'm sure it will work equally as well.
