Arc’Teryx carefully crafted the Women’s Escala Short with butter-soft fabric and mesh side panels for optimal ventilation. The Escala Short’s flatlocked seams and stretchy fit make this short just as comfy to work out in as your undies would be—and we’re sure your undies look nice and all, but this thing looks pretty bomber in yoga class. The wide seamless waistband sits securely at the hips, and an internal pocket stashes your MP3 player or key.
Bottom Line: Soft, wicking comfort and a fit that won’t restrict you in the least.

I generally love Arcteryx products and I wear a size small or medium in this line. These shorts looked really bad on me. I asked my gorgeous 15 yr/old daughter to try them on and she agreed with me. Our hips looked huge in these shorts (she is a size 4/6 and I am a size 6). The fabric is tremendous, so I wish I could have kept them.

Wow! These are such fun and functional shorts. You just put them on and you feel like a superstar. I practice bikram and hatha yoga and these are my number one. Dont let the 4" inseam scare you. You can pull off the most exposed moves on the yoga mat and be confident that your all covered. They are also my favorite night time cozy up jams. And did I mention they are my boyfriends fav too! Hot mamma!!
