The Arc'teryx Women's Epsilon SV Jacket is an ultralight softshell for alpine climbers who need excellent breathability and weather protection. Its 13.9oz weight isn't notived on your back, nor will you get the dreaded clammy feeling thanks to the Epsilon SV Jacket's ultra breathable faced polyester fabric. This minimalist Arc'teryx softshell is water resistant enough to hold off driving snow or light rain, and the structured hood adds extra weather protection and warmth when it gets really nasty. *Available for US shipment only.

Bottom Line: When the mountains get steep, the smart climbers go light with the Arc'teryx Epsilon SV Jacket.

not for big chested ladys

Love the coat for rain if you do not care what you look like. A big chested lady just does not look good because the pockets are in the wrong spot.

I Love this jacket, the sleeves are a little short and it could be a bit warmer, but other than that I love it and couldn't be happier!

great jacket but wish it were a little warmer

very lightweight jacket. water repellency works well. if you're in a colder climate, you would definitely need another layer underneath, but it's comfortable for me in the mid to high 60's. it's advertised as moderately warm on the arcteryx website, but i suppose that depends on your definition of moderate. i'm 5'5" 110 lbs. and the xs fits well. nice looking jacket.

love it!

Though I haven't been able to test this jacket in cold weather or hard rain, I have been very happy with its performance in light rain and a warm climate. The inside of the jacket is fairly soft, so unlike most water resistant jackets, it feels comfortable against bare skin. (I hate wearing a typical shell over a tank top in the summer...that sticky feeling on your arms is no fun). I have been out in it twice in light rain and the water has beaded up and I haven't gotten wet. I'm hoping that holds true in harder rain or snow. I'm 5'4" and about 112 lbs. and the small fits well. I probably could have gone with the xs (I have other Arc'teryx jackets in xs) but I wanted to be able to put layers underneath for skiing. Oh...the flame color is bright (think safety orange).
