Wanted to love this....
- Fit: Runs small
I really, really wanted to love this, but alas it just wasn't meant to be. Based on other reviews and my experience with Arc'teryx (6 jackets) - I purchased the medium. 5'6" 135 lbs, 36D chest. Sleeves were meant for someone who is 6'5" tall, and the fit was extremely tight. I expected the latter, but given the fit and fabric (wool) I realized I would never be able to wear this with a tank, jog bra, or short sleeve shirt. The fit is that of tight long underwear, not a light jacket or tight fitting workout jacket. It fits me like my long sleeve, tight fitting, running tops, with a hood. It is a base layer with no room for anything underneath. I live in Portland, this could have been my ideal 40-50F exercise top - if it was slightly looser and the sleeves didn't make my arms look like they were 1 foot long. Bummer!
- Gender: Female
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I bought this for backpacking and hiking as a light weight layer. I am 5'7", 140lbs and got the size M in color Lapis. It's a tighter fit since it's a baselayer, I wouldn't wear it without a vest around town, but great for under a jacket when the temps start to drop at night.
Can't wait for it to get cooler and wear it more often!
For a thin, wool top, this is my go-to item.
Nice material that washes really well. Fit is perfect and sleeves are a little extra long, which is perfect for me. Worth the money.
