One 100-weight fleece to rule them all

I just love these, and have 3 of them. The 100-weight fleece definitely fills a niche, and is surprisingly warm under a shell. Very light, looks great, and or course very well made. I'm 5'9" 180# and the medium fits like it's custom made. Can't recommend these enough.
Solid piece, fits well.

I bought the delta lt in the tungsten size large and the color is very accurate to the picture. The sizing on this piece is very accurate; I am mostly a large in everything I wear (6'1", 195lbs, 42inch chest, 33inch waist) and it fits like a charm. I would say that it definitely runs long because I have a very long torso and arms and it fits me well (maybe a little long, but this is good because I have a theta ar to cover that length).
The pullover is comparable to a thick long sleve t-shirt, but it is much much warmer than that. I wore this around town all day and it was 45F here and 20mph winds. I cant wait to use this under my atom or theta ar, i cant imagine how warm it will be then.
The delta's collar is superbly made: it fits neither to high that you're choking, nor too low so that it doesn't cover your neck, just right. The zipper also goes down a couple inches past my sternum; this gives me just enough room to breath when it heats up a little bit inside. The full zip delta lt i think would be pointless, just extra weight for no gain in versatility. I have only had the jacket out on the town today, but I will update. Great jacket so far!
p.s i price matched from amazon and got a great deal with the backcountry sales rep! I will come back to backcountry time and time again because of their customer service.
Size large on a 5'9" 150lbs guy

Just got done with a clinic here at backcountry. Got this and wanted to share it. This is a size large. I'm 5'9 and 150lbs. The sleeves are obviously a little long, however a medium should fit me fine if I liked it not so tight. Hope this helps to judge size at least a little bit
Wow!

As soon as I put this on, I knew it was the best piece of clothing I've ever owned: the fit, the feel, the look - all 10+'s. I walked around my place a bit and then went to my computer and ordered two more! It's just superb!
Love this fleece

I just bought this modern version of the Arc'teryx fleece. I had an older one. It is very comfortable and fits well. I think the Tungsten is a great color.

possibly the most fascinating article of clothing i own (up there with my hyllus jacket). I'm still new to high end technical clothing, but it stuns me how warm yet lightweight & breathable/wicking this thing is. It actually comes out of the washer spin cycle virtually dry!
It regulates body temp so well that it works over a huge temp range and is ridiculously soft and cozy. My gf complains that I wear it too much. Bought initially as a skiing midlayer - though I live on a subtropical island and its perfect on its own in the winter here. If it weren't so $$ i'd get another coupled of em.
Pretty nice

I got this fleece knowing little about it. It is pretty nice, VERY warm for how lightweight it is, I just wish I had ordered a size down. Also, I tried on the full zip jacket and liked it more, it is heavier since it is full zip, I just liked the fit more than the pullover. I do have two of them, I found them on sale for $80 and snatched em up for the cold winter, wished I had just got one, and waited for the full zip. If you have the chance to try on both next to each other, you may agree.

I'm pretty psyched on it. It is a longer fit. I am 6'0, pretty thin. I went with a medium and it fits really well. I use this as a layer for skiing, climbing, or just casual night out. The fleece is quite soft and it amazes me how many compliments I get when wearing this shirt and how few I get when I don't.

Not what i was expecting. It is very soft, but has a long fit. I swim in this XL and i'm 6'2" 210lbs with an athletic build. I wish the fleece were a little thicker because the wind cuts through this no problem. Dog hair is like a magnet to this thing as well.

This is meant to be a base layer or a light mid-layer. As such, it is a superb technical piece. It was never intended to serve as a wind proof or wind resistant shell.

I have one of these and found it to be so light that I thought it'd be useless as anything but a baselayer in cold temps-but I was wrong.Super soft and light,I've worn it under a baselayer and my Alpha SV shell in 29 degrees comfortably. So light, you forget you've got it on.

They have obviously changed the location they make this previuosly great product. I own four Delta LT's. Ordered this new one and it does not fit at all like the others. I wear large and on the new one the body is significantly smaller and tighter. The neck is smaller and the sleeves are much longer. Bring back the old one!
Nice light layering piece

Great lightweight fleece. Packs down small and light to give you an extra layer in case you're unsure of temps or just prefer to sleep warm like I do. Breathes great when used as a baselayer. 6ft 160 , wear a medium in this and size is perfect.

Is it better than a Patagonia R1 fleece jacket ?

I'd go for the Patagonia...but I'm biased because I own an R1 hoody. I think the patagonia is made better and fits better, but that is just my opinion. This is also a great product.

I prefer the Delta LT to my R1. Way softer, and so much lighter. I can't get enough of mine.
Sean Hilliard

The main difference is in the material. The LT uses Polartec Classic 100 Micro, where, the R1 uses Polartec Power Dry. The power dry is heavier (about 2.5 oz for the R1 pullover), but should wick moisture better and would be warmer. If it makes a difference, the R1 also has a chest pocket. The price is about the same, so go with works best for you. Hope that helped!
Great Lightweight Pullover

This is a great lightweight pullover. Warm and easily layerable, either below or on top. I will say, if you are between sizes, get the smaller size. I usually wear XL or L (5'10", 46in chest, 33in sleeves, 36" waist). I wear an XL in all of Arc'teryx's softshells, can wear a L Theta or Alpha hardshell, but I am definitely a Large in this top. Ordered the XL and it is extremely long (longer than the bottom of my Large Theta AR (which runs low), and the waist was big enough for 40"+ waist. I returned the XLs and order Large. Very comfortable (soft), nice taper fit, but not tight. A steal on SAC!

The Arc'teryx Delta LT is one of my most worn fleece tops. It's super soft, and stays that way for years (I've got a couple that are 4+ years) really packable, and surprisingly efficient when layered. This new version uses the same grid-fleece, but has a deeper chest zipper, which I like. Looks like my buddies get some new fleece, cause I'm refreshing my collection of Delta LTs.
