Arc'teryx Delta AR Zip-Neck Top - Men's

Fantastic fleece, very comfortable. I love the waffle knit. Its thicker and warmer than it appears, though it breathes quite well once you warm up. The zipper is the perfect length, allowing a deep enough opening to get some ventilation going when you get too warm. The velour cuff and collar liners are a nice touch. I find myself reaching for it on chilly nights when I want something cozy to sit around in. Its got that kind of security blankey kind of vibe to it.

The only downside is that it does not pack down small. Its bulkier and thicker than it looks. It takes quite a bit of effort to get it down to the size or a cantaloupe (I wear a large). However, its a fleece, that's how fleeces are. I wouldn't take it backpacking, it too bulky and heavy. But for a day out when you know you'll need some warmth, both sitting around and moving, this is a primo fleece.

Its fit, while still athletic, is a little more casual than some of their other pieces, so layering over it might be tough. Layering under it would be great though.

Don't know why this as classified as a shirt because this is one serious fleece. Its very lightweight but incredibly warm, especially for its thickness. I was very surprised by just how warm this fleece is. When I'm just lounging around the house in this with just a t-shirt underneath I usually get too hot.

The fit is slightly relaxed. I'm 5'11, 145lbs and the medium fits me nicely. The arms are just perfect for me. The backcountry.com pictures are a little misleading. This fleece has more of a sweater look than the Patagonia R1 look that the pictures would have you believe. Still, a very stylish pullover that is probably worth the $120.

This is another surprise from Arc'teryx-I knew I'd get great,super high quality gear from the bird co.,but this just iced it. Warm,very comfortable,deep front zip,but what did it for me is the warmth to weight ratio and the fact that it's so thin-but really keeps me warm.Easily as warm as other heavier weight fleece that I have.One of my best,and quickly becoming a favorite.
I have other 100 weight and 200 weight polartec fleece from other companies that don't hold a candle to this one.It's the warmth to weight that really does it.I'm a minimalist when it comes to clothing (travel light-freeze at night)so this can take the place of two midlayers stacked.

Not for it's performance either, though that is impressive. It's because for cold Alaska mornings, this thing is supersoft lounge wear. Outdoors, it performs like a champ, with incredible warmth for something that compresses to the size of a rolled up magazine. For ultralighters, this is an excellent temperature range extender. Paired with a windstopper top/shell and and baselayer, this should keep you comfortable when temps dip in the 40s.

This is one of my favorite pieces of outerwear that I own. It has very soft fabric and it feels good on the skin. Its a great layering piece, but is also awesome to wear on cool spring and fall nights. Its is also stylish enough to wear out to the bars. I only give this 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a thermal fleece so it doesnt block any wind and i did wash it once and found a hole after around the neck. otherwise it is a great piece.

You should see just how cool the Gold Medal color looks in real life. I don't know how many people ask me where I got this and tell me how good it looks (not to brag). The very first thing I noticed when I tried this on was that this is WARM! I almost didn't need any other jacket or sweater when I was walking around outside in 30degree weather. The texture is extremely soft and looks great too. It is a little pricey for what you could get for another brand or whatnot but as with most anything Arc'teryx, it is very very nice quality. You spend a little more money for something that will last ALOT longer. I highly recommend this.

Climbed mount saint Helens dec 18, 2011. This is the garment I wore as a mid layer. Way to hot for me. Had to just use as an out layer. Wicked moisture really well and pushed to the outside of garment. Once cleared wood line had to change to different mid layer all together, but only because I'm particular and sweat way to much. Since then just wear garment out and about around town. I'm 6'1" 175 and large fits perfect.

Comfortable, breathable, good fit and wide temperature range at 7500 foot altitude. Works well by itself at 75F-50F, probably lower if on the move constantly.

This was actually my first Arc'teryx piece..I got it a while back as a gift from an ex-girlfriend. First of all, I have a pullover from Eddie Bauer that is similar...so similar in fact that I thought they may have been made at the same factory. I started doing a close inspection of the two pieces and several things stood out in favor of the Arc' pullover. First thing was where they were made...Canada for the Arc and Macau for the EB. Next thing was the inside of the collar on the Arc was lined with a superfine fleece material while the EB wasn't lined at all...and the seams inside the sleeves of the Arc were flat and barely visible while the EB had prominent seams with a few loose threads. My point is that Arc'teryx items are more expensive for a reason...you just have to decide if the reason is worth the extra $$ to you. Personally, all of my Arc'Teryx gear seems like it will last more than one season of outdooring...I can't say that for everything else.

I may wear this sweater every day all winter long! Crazy warm, comfy, and stylish. A little more than a "shirt" as the description says, I consider it more a sweater. I wear it as a mid layer and as a stand alone. I am 6 ft 1, 185 lbs and the medium fits perfect. I purchased both the medium and large and found the size different significant - I swam in the large and the medium fits perfect. I purchased the gold medal colour - not nearly as bright as the picture suggests - but I like the colour nonetheless and get constant comments from people who like it. Another beautiful piece of clothing from the best gear company there is!

great fleece. my husband wears it almost constantly. the price seemed a bit high, but most things from this brand are.

I was looking for an attractive midlayer that would fit into my layering system and also look great as a standalone piece. I found both in this piece from Arcteryx. Although the price is a little steep, after wearing this for several backpacking and rock climbing outings, I feel that it's more than paid for itself. I wore it under the Arcteryx Strato jacket in 18 degree weather and didn't feel the bite from the cold. And its breathes wonderfully. Like other posts say, the gold medal color is not as bright as the picture shows, but it still looks great nonetheless.

I love this sweater, but I will say that it tends to bunch up around my forearms, but I can shake it out rather easily. All in all its a great buy and I love it.

I bought this shirt last fall and have loved it since. It is incredibly light weight, and very warm. I was very impressed with it's ability to insulate. I live in west Michigan and this fleece took the windy fall weather head on. Its a great fleece/shirt and would recommend it to anyone.

Large fits me well, 6'1" and 190, and it works well, warm but wicking moisture well. It is a superb mid layering, gonna use it for snowboarding and backcountry skiing

I live in Madison, WI and have been wearing this pullover everyday since I bought it. It has great thermal qualities, keeping you warm when your cold without overheating when indoors. I'm 5'9'' and 160 lbs. and a Large is a great fit.
