Combining the unbeatable waterproofing and toughness of the original Bora with a supple and durable nubuck leather upper, the Arc'teryx Bora2 Mid LTR GTX Men's Hiking Boot is a bomber boot made for tough alpine rock hopping, scree-covered passes, and marshy high meadows. Unlike most boots, it sports a fully removable inner mesh-and-foam bootie that Arc'teryx decked out with a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane to provide killer comfort in soggy conditions without turning your feet swampy when the weather warms up.
The Bora2 also utilizes Arc'teryx's Adaptive Fit design, which foregoes a tongue in favor of a slip-on construction designed to eliminate pressure points and hot spots. The inner bootie has an elastic collar to keep debris and water from slipping into your socks, and the Bora2 is also built on a solid TPU chassis to provide a solid feel on treacherously uneven terrain. An EVA midsole provides solid underfoot cushioning, and the Vibram Arc'teryx Hiking sole is made to keep you upright on trails that would have a mountain goat reaching for his trekking poles.

Another Great Arc'teryx Product

I took the leap and would gladly do it again! I love just about everything about the boot. The removable liner has come in handy a few different times around camp to use a slipper, or even cold nights it can act as a bootie. To this point too, is the insulated liner that is available separately. Now the boot is extended to be used almost year round. The vibram sole has great traction, even on the wet rocks of the Adirondacks that I used them on several times, and out West here in the Northern Rockies, Wasatch & Uintas, and Southern Utah/ Northern Arizona.
The only minor issues I have experienced with these, was the first speed hook can actually do its job too good. When untying, my laces have gotten stuck and takes a bit of some pulling the get the lace out.
The fit was true to size for me. I typically am an 11 in majority shoe brands, and was the same case here too. I didn't experience any blistering with these boots at all, however, I am not typically one to get blisters from new footwear.
I would definitely recommend these boots for hiking/ backpacking. If you have any questions about these boots, or any other gear, feel free to reach out to me directly!

These boots were incredible right out of the box. Hiked Mt Timpanogos for their first time use and my feet were very happy. Was a pretty rocky trail and the grip and support were very good. Went through streams and water did not come through. Usually I come out of this hike with blisters but with these boots I had none. Definitely recommend
When will this shoe be available in a men's US 10?
