The Arc'teryx Bora 65 keeps gear in place and organized for multiple days on the trail. Arcteryx uses their V-stay suspension to gently handle heavy loads. Laminated internal pocketing and a dedicated sleeping bag area, plus the removable top lid that can be used as a fanny pack, insures that your gear stays safe and organized. The Arc'teryx Bora 65 is built with breakthrough suspension technology and ergonomic design. The Bora hipbelt features four layers of foam formed into a curved shape. This gives agility to even a fully loaded pack. *Available for US shipment only.
Bottom Line: Arc'teryx's ingenious engineering brings comfort and convenience to the trail with the Bora 65 Backpack.
i've only used this amazing pack on a week long trip in kings canyon california, it's performance was great. very comfortable and sleek. the only thing i can complain about is the lack of exterior pockets.
This pack fit fine and was comfortable, but it is amazingly heavy - an ounce heavier, in fact, than my much larger trekking pack. This might be fine for a larger pack, but these days, a pack of this size needs to be ultralight.
Awesome design of '04 model of Bora 65, bigger adjustable side-pockets, lighter overall weight. Waterproof zippers. There is some room for perfection. Should consider built-in rain-cover, end-cover for zipper-ends.

Thanks for sending the Bora 65 to Holland. It's the best backpack thats available in our country. Ordering by Backcountry saves more than $ 450!! Now we have walked two times with heavy loads, 15 kg and about 18 kg. The hipbelt fits perfect and makes you have no pressure point on the shoulders. We look forward for the spring, than we will start with a trip off 150 km over the dike following the coast of the North Sea (Lauwersoog-Nieuw Statenzijl). With our Bora this trip will be much easier so we can optimal concentrate on our beautiful flat country with his beautiful horizon.
This is my second Arc'Teryx pack and I have to say, after summiting two 14k peaks in CO last week with it, these things are indestructible. There are some lighter packs out there but I squeezed through some sharp, craggy cracks without a hint of wear or tear on this thing.
For anyone seriously interested in backpacking, you really should consider purchasing an Arc'teryx backpack. They are so tough you feel as though you could drive a truck over one and it would still be okay. I was wearing mine when I was caught in a torrential downpour at Enchanted Rock here in Texas and did not even need to pull out a rain cover. Everything in my pack was bone-dry. The padding on the straps is top-notch and extremely comfortable. Even with a heavy load, you're assured of comfort thanks to their design. I liked mine so much that I bought a Bora 95 for expedition loads. They are pricey, but with these packs, you know they will last you at least 10 years.
I have used several packs in my 40 years of packing and there is not a better pack on the market. I can carry it all day and not be in the least bit sore from it. You couldn't give me any other pack and I hope that it will last me for 10 more years or until I ware out and can't go anymore.
Arc'teryx does not copy they innovate and their backpacks are no exception. The hip belt is molded together so there are no seams to chaff you. The pack suspension stays mount directly into the hip belt providing excellent weight transfer. My favorite feature is the Scholler fabric used on the hip belt and back panel. Scholler wicks moisture and dries quick. Combine the Scholler with seamless construction and this is the most comfortable pack produced.
