Description

Women-specific fit for warm and dry hands skiing, climbing, or running around town.

You scale large rocks, you rock deep powder, and your car rocks with music that would cause your friends to disown you. Regardless of how you get your rocks, your hands will be warm and dry in the Arc'teryx Women's Beta AR Mitten. The triple-layer Gore-Tex Pro 3L shell keeps water and wind on the outside, and warm air inside. The leather-reinforced palm and thumb offer additional durability in high-use areas. The women's specific fit means you have control over what's in your hand, and you don't have to worry about controlling your hand in extra-wide (man) mittens.

The removable hybrid fleece liner uses Polartec Wind Pro double-layer high-loft fleece on the back for warmth and a low-profile Thermal Pro Tweed on the palm— the liner works well on its own when you're driving around town or making your way up the skin track on a dawn patrol. When conditions turn ugly, wear the liner inside the shell for warm windproof and waterproof paw protection. If you're looking at pipe-freezing temps, throw a hand-warmer between the shell and liner for extra warmth and digit preservation. Rock on all winter long, knowing your hands are warm and dry in the Beta AR Mitten.

weird sizing

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

I bought these in size large, which is my normal size in women's mittens/gloves. The hand part of the mitten fit fine, but the thumb was too tight and too short. I returned them.
