The wind- and water-resistant Arc'teryx Women's Accelero Pullover weighs only 7.2-ounces, so you have no excuse not to pack this top on a trail run or ultralight hike. Use the highly breathable Accelero Pullover as a lightweight mid-layer for a fall hike or as a stand-alone piece in nicer weather. The trim fit and pullover design helps this polyester Arc'teryx shirt layer well.
Bottom Line: Grab the versatile Arc'teryx Accelero Pullover as an all-in-one layering top.
I have the AR-Gamma Arc'teryx jacket in a size Small. I'm 5'4" 120 pounds, & it fits perfectly. When everyone says it runs a size small, do they mean from a universal standpoint, or from Arc'teryx gear's standpoint?
The Arc'teryx Accelero doesn't run small, it's just cut to fit close, with not much more than a performance tee under it. Order the same size as you did in the Gamma AR and it will be just right.
I ordered up as the reviews stated. Doing so, it leaves room for a light layer but can still be worn alone. It definitely fits smaller than most (I wear a small in mtn hardware/marmot/north face and bought a medium). I could do a small but no room for even a light layer. It is a very nice material and a cool look. Great for windy runs or rides.

Absolutely a great buy!!. LIghtweight yet effective in cooler and windy conditions. Have used it cycling and hiking here in 7,000 foot terrain of Colorado, even during November. I am generally a size medium but decided to order a large which is perfect. . . plenty of lenght in the arms, not too tight, but not boxy.
I really like this pullover. It is a little longer then some of the other Arc'teryx tops which i really like, however I followed the previous reviews and ordered up a size (I'm 5'6" and 120 lbs) and found the top to be too big. I wasn't looking for a second skin but the medium was almost gapey. I plan on exchanging it for a small.
Is it as light some of the typical windshirts (like by Marmot) or is it a little heavier like a typical softshell jacket? Also, is this good for long runs? Thanks!
The Arc'teryx Accelero is much more of a windshirt than a softshell. Great piece for long runs, and any other active sport. I use mine for biking during the fall and spring.
This top fits nicely under a shell and provided the midlayer warmth/wind protection that I wanted without bulk. It was comfortable and washed well. It runs 1 size small, as others have already noted.
the Arc'teryx Accelero isn't waterproof, so it won't keep you dry when it is raining. It will shed a light drizzle, but it's really built to block some wind and wick moisture off your skin or baselayer.A good jacket to inspect for a combination of water resistance (if you buy a waterproof jacket for Extreme Power Walking you'll end up soaked from sweat, as truly waterproof jackets can't keep up with really high output sweating) is the Arc'teryx Venta LT. The Venta LT is made with windstopper, which is highly water resistant, but with a highly breathable material under the arms for excellent breathe-ability and moisture transfer. I'd recommend the Gamma LT pants for water-resistant, or the Alpha LT for waterproof pants (make sure the pants have vents if you're getting extreme)
I purchased the Accelero Pullover not sure exactly where I would use it, but I soon found out! I wear the shirt cycling & it is super breathable, blocks wind, & repels light rain: perfect for fall weather. I think the shirt runs 1 size small. I did buy a small-it has a close athletic fit & I probably won't be able to wear anything under it besides a t-shirt. The arms are long but fit a little too close to accommodate another layer. The bamboo charcoal on the inner layer works well for moisture and odor control.
