If you're looking for something stable enough to ride around the city at high speed without losing the ability to ollie up curbs and surf the occasional bank, the Arbor Shakedown Cruiser is worth checking out. It's kind of like what would happen if a pintail and a regular freestyle deck made a love child.

  • Functional kicktail and nose improve maneuverability and let you pop over curbs, parking blocks, etc.
  • Soft 65mm, 78a wheels roll over cracks and potholes, and offer reliable grip on grimy pavement
  • Has 10-inch Gullwing Charger trucks for stability at speed

Killer little board

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a quality little cruiser board. It is only slightly bigger than a regular skateboard, so if you're looking for more of a longboard type cruiser you shouldn't get it, you should go with the bat tail one. But this board is killer for surf style carving skate sessions and you can just pivot your weight on flatland and never even put your foot down to push.
