Often found in a volatile state on steep mountains.

The Arbor Element RX Snowboard tends to react violently when mixed with fresh pow and freeride terrain. It destroys snow on contact by throwing overhead slashes, ripping chutes, and stomping cliffs due to its Mountain System rocker, which gives it the float needed to stay on top of pow. However, it's constructed with sustainably-harvested wood to reduce its impact on the environment, so the mountains aren't permanently harmed from the thrashing you just gave them. And if you decide to conduct some experiments in the park with it, too, be prepared for some exciting results.

System rocker uses several different design elements to provide true rocker performance while maintaining an incredible amount of edge hold and pop. It features a parabolic arc that is more rockered between the bindings and less rockered at the tip and tail to give it float in powder and a catch-free feeling on hardpack, while making turn initiation fluid and easy. The Grip Tech sidecut uses two additional contact points along each edge to allow for reliable edge hold on a rocker profile. A Power Ply sustainably-sourced wood topsheet replaces plastic to not only make it poppier, but more environmentally-friendly as well.

A triax-over-biax fiberglass lay-up gives it a responsive feel for greater precision and control when the terrain gets tricky. Lightweight FSC-certified poplar is used in the core for a smooth flex and lively feel, and dual strips made from fast-growing bamboo running down the center maximize pop. Rhythm sidewalls feature a blend of urethane and ABS to absorb vibrations for a smooth ride, and the sintered base absorbs wax well and resists damage from rocks and stumps hidden beneath the snow.

All mountain killer

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Took this board out on a powday and it was epic. Super solid board and not as loose as a lot of reverse camber boards nowadays. Same pop and edge control as normal camber but it glides effortlessly through the snow

Awesome Board!!!!

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This board is KILLER!! I ride at Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah so i primarily ride POW, I have only taken this board out twice due to low snow conditions but that's all it took to make me fall in love with this board! The grip tech side cut makes it so no matter what the conditions are, (powdery, or icy) you can make every single turn with complete confidence that you will have control! the parabolic rocker system is awesome as well, keeps you floating on the pow effortlessly and ripping the groomers with ease! I ride a 157 and I am 5'10 and 155 pounds and this board in my opinion is the perfect fit!
