For when you're in yours.

The Arbor Element Snowboard tends to react violently when mixed with fresh pow and freeride terrain, but in the best way possible. It destroys snow on contact by throwing overhead slashes, ripping chutes, and stomping cliffs due to its System Rocker profile, which gives it the right blend of float in pow and precision on steeps. However, it's constructed with sustainably-harvested wood to reduce its impact on the environment, so the mountains aren't permanently harmed from the thrashing you just gave them. And if you decide to conduct some experiments in the park with it, too, be prepared for some exciting results.

System rocker uses several different design elements to provide true rocker performance while maintaining an incredible amount of edge hold and pop. It features a parabolic arc that is more rockered between the bindings and less rockered at the tip and tail to give it float in powder and a catch-free feeling on hardpack, while making turn initiation fluid and easy. The Grip Tech sidecut uses two additional contact points along each edge to allow for reliable edge hold on a rocker profile. A Power Ply sustainably-sourced wood topsheet replaces plastic to not only make it poppier, but more environmentally-friendly as well.

A triax-over-biax fiberglass lay-up gives it a responsive feel for greater precision and control when the terrain gets tricky. Lightweight FSC-certified poplar is used in the Double Barrel core for a smooth flex and lively feel, and dual strips made from fast-growing bamboo running down the center maximize pop. 360-degree full-wrap sidewalls crank up the durability, and the sintered base absorbs wax well and resists damage from rocks and stumps hidden beneath the snow.

Absolutely love this board! It's a great do-all, ride-all stick for covering the mountain. Floats through powder and sticks through groomers and even ice thanks to GripTech. Very stable feel at high speeds yet still enough flex to have some fun up on the nose and tail. Definitely not a butter stick like the Draft but Arbor's parabolic rocker shape allows for a super playful feel. Plenty of pop when launching off of side hits and booters. As far as looks go, Arbor is hard to beat. Their real wood topsheets pay great homage to the spirit of the company and certainly turn heads.

I'm riding a 155 with '16 Forces.

Bottom Line: BUY this board. It leans a little more towards all mountain riding but can still be playful and fun with presses. You won't be disappointed.
