    Finally, the perfect fit!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I haven't replaced my helmet in 10 years and I'm hoping to ski a ton next winter, so it was high time! My brother wanted me to get a Bern but I was afraid they wouldn't cover my massive forehead. I probably ordered 10 helmets in several, makes, models and sizes, including some POCs and Smiths. My Gearhead Zach was a dream to work with and now I'm a lifelong BC fan because of him. After many returns and exchanges, I absolutely fell in love with this one. I've got a pretty big head, but not a lot of hair, and a big ole forehead. My goal was to find something that was warm, comfy almost to the point that you forget you're wearing a helmet, look cute and not have a big gap between my goggles and the helmet. With the other helmets I tried on, when I pushed them forward to cover my big forehead, they choked my neck. This one fits perfectly, without any noticeable contact points and meets all of my other needs. I normally wear an ultrathin wool beanie under my helmet, but this one is so warm that I doubt I'll need to. I pretty much only wear black for all outdoor activities but am trying to incorporate a little bit of color, so the Kypto Blue was an excellent choice. It's really pretty. Also, there's no gap between my goggles and helmet. I wear women's Smith IOS and they fit perfectly. Oh, it's important to note that I bought this recently and have never actually used it because it's almost summer, but am super pumped to wear it next ski season! I'm not an aggressive skier and I stay in the resort so I'm sure it'll do the trick if I take a tumble.

    Comfortable and Functional

I bought an Anon Raider without the BOA feature in a large and found it too big without a beanie underneath so i took a chance and bought the Rodan also in a Large hoping the BOA would correct that problem. Works and fits great! I keep it all the way loose when its real cold and i need another head layer and when its not too chilly out i can tighten up without a hat. Great helmet and fits absolutely amazing with any Anon goggle. They really did great with this one here. Only complaint is that it is not very simple to put the SkullCandy Speakers in the helmet but that is minor so 5 stars it is!

    Anon Rodan Brain Bucket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

First helmet I have ever purchased for myself. Never used one even though been snowboarding for 25 years now. Have kids and decided to set good example, gold star for me! Very light helmet and fits well thanks to the BOA system. I originally ordered a medium as my head measured 23" which fell into the medium size helmet fitting guide. The medium was super snug and decided to return it and get a large. The large fits great after I crank down the BOA. I didn't know if I would like a helmet, but after the first day, it seems normal for me now. Got about 15-20 days on snow thus far and no major issues. I like the slide closure instead of the regular buckle style as it is easy to work even with gloves. The only slight complaint I have is that the chin strap seems to loosen a little and I have to adjust it once in a while. Not a major issue but worth noting. I think I can solve that issue by putting a tight rubber band around the strap where it goes through the slide buckle. The chin strap loosening is a very minor drawback so I stuck with the 5 star rating as the helmet is super light, allows my head to breathe some but also keeps my head warm on cold days. Biggest reason for rating 5 stars is comfort and not knowing it is even on my head! Also fits well with my Oakley Canopy goggles.

I'm border line medium and large. Which size would fit better? Will the BoA system tighten down to almost a medium if I get the large? Also, I have an M2 googles. Will it sit well on mt face when paired with the rodan? Thanks!

I fall between a XS AND S, being a 54.5cm (I have a small head) Would I be able to go with a small (55-57cm) and be able to manually adjust to my head size ?
