Both are not total mirrors, so you can see into them anyway, but I'm gonna say the Black Painted hides your eyes better.

These look awesome and perform great to. With me they didn't fog and they fit my helmet well. I have the red and black frame with a super tinted black lens. They look sick.
hey so im looking to get either the pearl emblem mirrors or the
hey so im looking to get either the pearl emblem mirrors or the purps but i'm not entirely sure if the purps will still be as reflective as the emblem mirrors (which i've been told are very reflective), and thats one of the things i want with my goggles. any help?

Yo Mitch, the Purps come with the Gold Ice lens, which has a pretty reflective mirrored coating on it as well. Both will hide your wandering eyes when staring at the snowbunnies' springtime cleavage on the lift, but the Blue Solex mirror lens in the White Emblem color is definitely darker looking through it (more for super bright sunny days). The Gold Ice lens is more of an all-around lens even though it has a mirrored finish.

the lens on the black painted mirror option would be a good bet. It is an amber lens and made to be a good middle ground for all conditions.

So I'm still not sure what the deal is with this interchangeable mesh technology, but these guys vent really well as is, I haven't had them fog up on me once. The graphics are awesome, and if you aren't used to spherical lenses, you'll be surpised how well it opens up your vertical peripherals. Oh yeah, and they're just flat out comfortable goggles, your face will be happy.

Pull the frame away from the lens at either the top of the nose area or the top of the lens in between where your eyes sit. After you get that loose, simply pry the lens around the frame and you should be able to pull it out. Well, at the start of the season I bought these and they rocked for the first 8-10 days. After that they really started fogging bad. It was pretty annoying and I ended up hating my Anon's, I am kind of sick of Burton. This year I bought these goggles, a RED HiFi Helmet and RED Ninjaclava to wear together. Mind you these are all Burton items and together fit like CRAP! Sorry BC but my Anon's are coming back to you and going to try some Smith's next!

the best lens for low or flat light is Yellow or rose! Both of these lenses were created from anon to enhance light in tough riding conditions.

i first purchased anon's new solaces back in dec. rode them for a few days and didnt like them. they were very tight around the nose. returned them for the realms and never looked back. super comfy, absolutely no fog even with my baclavaon. red clot "leather wrapped" print is awesome(if u like red)and is very bright and vivid. likewise, no idea what the interchangable mesh thing is, burton/anon described it to me but didnt have anything else to offer..sounds just like pillow talk to sell some goggle...but all around im more than satisfied with the looks and performance

Interchangeable air mesh system - does it come with more than one mesh? how does it work?

No, it does not come with more than one mesh. But supposedly you can substitute lightweight, breathable, or snow and water repellent inserts? The problem is getting these other inserts. Mine came with a mesh insert in them, and I have looked extensively for places to buy other ones with no luck.

I am a self proclaimed goggle whore and I have too many pairs of these. Bottom line is that the spherical lens makes for super clear vision, and the strap hinges help them fit great on a medium to wider face. Even around my furry Sasquatch dome. However, they also look totally sick, which is the real reason you are looking at them. It's OK to admit it, you're right.

No Sorry it doesn't.The lenses are interchangeable, but it doesn't include an extra. Check out the Yellow, Green Sq. Mirror, or Pink Sq. Mirror lenses for low-light conditions on days when it's storming.

It varies based on goggle. Figments usually come with an extra lens, but these Realms do not.
