There's a new sheriff in quick lens change town.

Anon takes its already revolutionary magnet-based lens-swapping technology to the next level with the M2 Goggle. Now frameless for maximum field of vision and a cutting-edge look, this design makes changing lenses insanely easy and fast.

Magna-Tech quick lens change technology got an upgrade on the M2. Anon removed the outer frame and buttons so all you have to do to take off the lens is literally grip it and rip it. The magnets are strong enough to survive a tomahawk through powder without coming off so you don't have to worry about losing your lens when you take a tumble. The large spherical lens tapers from the optical center toward the periphery for a wide field of vision with minimal distortion. Full perimeter channel venting allows maximum airflow to keep your lens fog-free, and triple-layer face foam provides a comfy fit that seals out the elements.

Steam room inside...

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

It was my 2nd M2 after my 3 year use of M2. I went to Sunday River Mt on Jan. 2021, and It was the first formal use because last season cut short due to pandemic. I wore them with Anon MFI mid weight neck warmer, but as you can see in the picture, it was steam room inside (sometimes felt like raining). It was a little colder than usual, but it was typical east coast ski weather. My friends with Oakley or Dragon ones were OK at that time. I had to go to lodges almost every hour to dry them up with hand drier. I liked my first M2 pair a lot, but I have no idea what to do these new pair. They are last year version with Sonar lenses (Lay Back/ Sonar blue & sonar silver)

Great Goggles

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I got these goggles for splitboarding due to the easy swap lens. I just pack the goggles and extra low light lens and am good for any condition. The lens switch over is second to none and literally takes 10 seconds to pull one lens off and snap the other in place. I was a little worried about the lens flying off during use but they have made it through a few hard wrecks without issue, so the magnet latch system is a winner. The lens are very high quality with really good clarity. I have the red lens, which works great in sun above tree line and isn?t bad in overcast, and the low lite lens is great for shawdows and late afternoon, and still blocks out a little sun. Field of view is very good. They have good fog reduction but not the best out there by any means. I really like to be able to easily pull the lens off to clean when it fogs up though. These are superb goggles if you are willing and able to drop the money. I would only get them for backcountry or other uses with changing light and wouldn?t spend the money for resort use.
