Unanswered Question

Do the Outdoor Tech Chips fit comfortably is this helmet?

Perfect Helmet!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Great helmet, works well with both my Smith and Oakley goggles. Would suggest to friends and purchase again if I had to.

does this come with the audio with it?

Media and Audio system is not included but compatible and ready! Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hard Charging Helmet

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I've skied over 70 days this season, the large majority with the Anon Blitz helmet. It is very well constructed, fits comfortably and it accommodates my Smith goggles no problem. It also accommodates my bluetooth speakers easily, and they are easily accessible for recharging, without having to remove each time.

The peak is neither here nor there. It really isn't functional but it doesn't bother you. Venting is absent. This season has been particularly warm, and I noticed that you sweat a lot easier than when using vented helmets. I mostly ski in the Rockies, and it gets bitterly cold, so it's a side effect I'm prepared to live with.

This is a no-nonesense, hard charging helmet that will last quite a few seasons. I'd recommend it anyday.

Unanswered Question

I have the anon m2 goggles and I know that the Rodan was made for the those goggles but I like the blitz better. Will the blitz work well with the M2's?

M2 compatibility

I want helmet that fits really well with my m2 goggles. The rodan is made for the m2 but i like the blitz much better. Will they work well together?

The Active Ventilation is not so active

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just got back from a trip to Park City where the weather (sadly) got up to 60 degrees. In more typical boarding weather, this helmet is probably great. It's very comfortable, warm, and fit great with my goggles (M2s); however, if you're like me and only want to own one helmet, the breatheability on this is not great, especially if you catch a bad run of warm weather. If you're gonna spend on a helmet, I'd recommend getting one with closable vents on the top.

I have 59cm head, so right on line between M & L. Should I size down or up for proper fit. Thanks!

It's always best to size down so you don't have an unsafe amount of space for if any impact occurs and could cause injury. So to ensure a safe and correct fit and you are in between a M and L, best to go with a Medium.

    So far so good.

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I bought this helmet in preparation for the upcoming ski season. No more sliding backwards through the trees unprotected for me thanks. When it arrived i couldn't wait to try it so I strapped it on and headed out on my mountain bike.

The weahter were I live in northern Nevada is getting borderline frigid, and I'm happy to report this hat has done a wonderful job of keeping my head warm when taking fast descents on my bike. The fit, I believe, is true to size and comfortable. The vents work well for dumping heat as the day warms up in the afternoons.

All in all I'm very happy with this hat, and can't wait to actually get it into the snow.

Will this helmet work with Oakley Air-brake Google's?

    Hey Rob,

Anon helmets are made to fit best with Anon goggles - but those Airbrakes will work for sure! Keep in mind that the Airbrake is a very large fit, so I wouldn't recommend those if you have a smaller face.

Would the large fit a 7 3/4 head?

    Best Answer

The 7 3/4 hat size converts to 24.25" or 62 cm. Looks like the L might be just a little too small for you. The XL would fit you perfect and not squeeze your brains.

    Nice helmet!

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I tried on several helmets, and after I tried this one on, I knew I had found the right one. It has padding to make the fit comfortable. I've only worn the helmet once, but I love it. So glad I purchased it.

    Good Helmet

    • Gender:Male
    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

This was my first helmet purchase. It's light, comfortable, and fits nicely. I also added the skull candy speakers and they work nice. I can even use the speakers just around the house or anywhere I would like some light volume music such as climbing. The speakers fit in the helmet nicely and the cords go inside so you only have one cord coming out the back.

My head is about 22 inches and I got the small. If you are on the cusp of sizing I would recommend sizing up for a little more comfort and room.

The ventilation system is a nice addition as well. If you are getting too warm just open up the vent for a nice cool breeze.

Not sure why I'm not giving it 5 stars but I'm giving it 4. Good helmet and has taken a few big hits and protected nicely.

(pic with dragon DXS goggles. I would give these a "meh". There are better goggles out there. These fog easily and just don't cut it)

    Good Helmet

    So much better than talon/rodan

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I bought the Talon helmet first thinking it would fit better over a beanie and goggles. Man was i wrong.....the Talon was huge and looked ridiculous. The Blitz is exactly what I was looking for and the fit couldn't be better (although i'm sure it could improve w/ the BOA system found on some of Anon's other helmets). If you are looking for a helmet that's versatile to wear solo w/ the earpads, or w/o and rock the beanie and goggles underneath, this thing does it all w/ style. Couldn't be happier.
