Whether you're more of a big-mountain jibber or crusty hermit, Amplid's Hill Bill Ski will have your wintertime needs covered with a cold-smoke-gobbling tip and tail rocker, fat 120mm waist, and springy core that will let you shred pow to smithereens, launch off backcountry booters, or chase those meddling young bucks down the hill and off your property.

A big ski isn't much good if you can't turn it, so Amplid designed the Hill Bill with its trademark Jekyll & Hyde geometry, which packs maximum effective edge and surface area into a given shape for a nimble, floaty feel regardless of length. The rockered tip and tail let you get loose and slashy, and the Hill Bill's underfoot camber provides the edginess you need to handle occasional stretches of hardpack. The Omni wood core is light and energetic, and that's before accounting for the basalt suspension strips, which give the Bill extra pop so it never feels damp or dull. Amplid built the Bill with a durable and powerful sandwich construction, but rolled the sidewalls into the topsheet—a design it calls Roundtop—to increase durability and prevent topsheet chipping. It also laid down Stompguard, a thin layer of rubber-wrapped Titanal under the edges, to prevent blowouts, and hooked the Bill up with Floatation Tips, which reduce swing weight and help you zip through tight spots like it's no big deal.
