The pants that Mallory wished he had.
Painstaking attention to detail, high-quality craftsmanship, and rugged construction with sophisticated fabrics make the Gentleman's High-Altitude Men's Hardshell Pant from American Mountain Co. a pant that will inspire equal measures of confidence and compliments. Made in the USA from rugged Schoeller C-Change and WB-400 fabrics, the Gentlemen's Pant offers complete protection from the elements you're likely to encounter on the trail. Bemis fully taped seams and a DWR coating keep out the rain, while the 3XDry moisture-wicking treatment and Nanosphere stain-resistant technology prevent condensation from building up and camp spills from dirtying your trousers. Schoeller fabrics are also slightly stretchy for easy movement. The pants are cut slim to reduce bagginess but have articulated knees for full freedom on strenuous ascents (they're also reinforced with stretchy and abrasion-resistant Schoeller Dynamic fabric).
There are plenty of more subtle touches, too, like the removable and adjustable elastic suspenders that attach with leather tabs and the Schoeller Keprotec ankle reinforcements that resist abrasions from rocks, sticks, and even crampons. Two hand pockets close with snaps and are designed to function smoothly under packs and harnesses, while internal ankle gaiters, ankle snaps, and 1/4-length leg zips give you a secure, snug fit that will keep snow and mud out of your boots and stop you from tripping over your cuffs. Every Aquazip zipper is water-resistant, and each YKK snap is designed to be freeze resistant, meaning the Gentlemen's Pant will live up to your expectations in even the harshest, coldest, and wettest conditions.

- Q & A
What is the sizing for these pants?
Here is the sizing chart:
800.409.4502 ext 4055
I just ordered these pants and I'm here to tell you, they run incredibly large. The picture is entirely misleading. I almost always wear a 32 or 33. I ordered a 34X32, and I basically had a hoop skirt on. I'm definitely a slim guy, but I had to re-order the smallest size available, 30X32, and that fits just right. I don't typically wear pants that are marked as a 30-inch waist size.
I would order at least a size smaller than what you think you need. They're great pants, but they run extremely large. I'm 5'11'' and I weigh 175.
Where can I get that guy's phone number?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
I wish he had a head.
You gals are such little scamps! =o)
I stumbled upon this page the other day at work. I'm seriously obsessed with this man. We are getting married. Save the date!
PS ^Actually I had a nice chat with Shannon Crockett about how I am not even bothered by his lack of a head! Ha!
