The midsole blends dual-layer EVA and Altra's A-Bound for a responsive ride that still offers impact abatement and softer steps. The 36mm total stack height fends off pointed attacks from below and gives your 50-mile efforts resilient cushioning until you cross the finish line. Trail-specific sticky rubber on the bottom still follows the shape of your foot for intuitive feel, but is tacky for traction over treacherous terrain.
