Wearing the Altra Men's Instinct 2 Running Shoe is equally as effortless and natural as your fleet-footed motion. This road shoe has a 0mm heel-toe offset but sets your foot 25mm off the ground. Your mid-focused gait gets the benefit of cushion typically associated with traditional running shoes without the traditional heel-toe offset.
Mesh on top gets put together sans seams to reduce chafing while managing foot moisture. The Instinct 2 comes with two different and removable insoles. If you're new to 0-drop running shoes, the 5mm Support insole helps ease the transition to a new stride cycle. The midsole is made of shock-absorbing EVA with a bouncy layer of A-Bound on top. Designed to mimic your foot's anatomy, the FootPod bottom flexes with ease so you smoothly move from foot strike to toe off.
