Description

The cooler camping chair.

The Mesh Weekender is the hot-weather version of your favorite Alps Mountaineering Camp Seat. It has a cool, flow-through mesh center in the back panel that won’t make you sweaty or clammy in the summertime. Throw it on a bleacher bench for back support, or rock it by the fire while you tell tall tales.

i found these to be more helpful in stadium seating, so that your bum doesn't hurt watching a football game or concert. it's great to lean back into the chair, too. my version is a bit older, no mesh, but it still works well!

My friend had one by a different brand, I saw this on SaC and grabbed it. returned it, this thing doesn't work well at all. I'm incredibly not flexible so Sitting with my legs straight out does not make a perfect 90 degree angle easily. I;m a light guy (135) but this thing was uncomfortable and couldn't really support me. It would be fine with your back against something but otherwise... not my cup of tea.
Construction seemed really good and the green looks nice, product just wasn't for me.

Absolutely worth the price. Bought it for camping, but I end up using it as a chair inside more often than not. Makes a good bed-top chair for when you're banging out emails or blogging. At the moment, I have it pinned into the wall on top of a really old backless chair that I repurposed. Once these are back in stock I'll probably snag another to keep in the back of my truck. These are one of those items that always comes in handy.

More than just a camp seat...

I like the mesh for hot days, but falls short if you want to open it up and have two people sit on it or have a short sleep pad.

This is a really nice little chair. It has the pocket in the back which I love - and the back is mesh to keep your back dry on hot days. The only problem is that the side straps are a bit too long (like an inch) I had to shorten them to make this chair work for me. Other than that I think this chair rocks!

The bottom would be resting on granite, gravel, whatever you find around lakes. What is the bottom of this one made of? I have a "lounge
lizard" that is over 30 years old and still works
great. I would like to get something similar for
my son.
