Since you deserve to be as lazy as you feel after a full day out in the wilderness, plop directly in the ALPS Mountaineering Kickback Chair when you return to camp. This lounge-style camping chair reclines to suit your mood and folds easily for storage or transport. A simple recliner mechanism delivers instant gratification, and won’t throw you across the room like Grandpa’s cranky lazy chair. ALPS added an adjustable headrest so you can personalize the Kickback’s angle of repose. *Supports up to three hundred pounds.

Bottom Line: Kickback and be easy after a whole day on the river.

Very comfortable. But heavy.

This chair is incredibly comfortable. It is built for reclining, and has a built-in, adjustable headrest. It's great on the patio, and would be fine for car-camping (if you have lots of room in your car). However, it's quite heavy (19 pounds) and not easy to carry around. It seems very well-built and sturdy. Instead of "camp chair" a more accurate description could be "foldable patio lounger," but it is likely more comfortable than any other lounger I've owned.

In the Product description, it states...Supports up to three hundred pounds. The width of the seat is probably around 18" the width of the chair when set up is 21" and this chair is very similar to the other chair (Lay-Z Lounger)for $83 though this chair is 2 lbs lighter and a bit larger when set up. Don't think ALPS offers an extra wide, call them if you are super interested

Sooo comfy. Not particularly mobile though.

I love this chair. It's super-comfortable and just begs for you to sit in it and imbibe adult beverages all day long. It folds up nicely and is actually pretty compact considering it's full size when folded out. That said, it's not particularly light and is somewhat awkward to carry by hand. I probably wouldn't take this to a hike-in campsite.
