I wanted to like this table

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

This table boasted to have it all when I was evaluating my needs. I could be a cook station or a dinner table, great feet, and adequate portability. Sadly, after setting up the table in my living room i have decided it's not for me. First off the table top is not a very rigid design. It needs legs in the middle or aluminum cross pieces to beef it up. Next, the frame was a little frustrating when set to the dinner table height as there is difficulty finding a comfortable place to put your legs. You really have to sit more next to the table tan under it. Lastly, I'm not really a fan of the flexible plastic table top. It seems that it is lacking durability and might even melt if hot items were placed on it.

    Good table

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'll be honest, I was looking for a bar height folding table that we could use .... Well for a bar at our wedding reception. This table is perfect for that and more. I have used it to fillet fish, cook meals, process game in the field and as a bar.

The only problem I can find is the weight, it is sturdy (lots of steel here) and heavy which holds it against the wind and bumping into it but it feels even heavier than the listed weight

    Great camp table

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Great camp table. Seems very sturdy. Heavy, but it's for car camping so not a problem. I considered buying another one if that says anything. A great addition to my car camping gear.

    Great camp table

    Packs small, stands tall.

I love the height adjustment. You can get it all the way up to chest height. Not sure what I would use it that way for yet, but by God I'm gonna figure something out.

Very durable. It held a large plaster castle and battlements for my Dungeons and Dragons group. We managed to save the Windlord from a coven of Vampires, so, you know, it's definitely been through the make believe ringer.

It's been getting the job done... so far

I have been relatively happy with my guide table so far (about 10 days total). It held up to a 5 day raft trip while it was getting soaking wet on the river and then having stoves cooking on it in the evenings.

The base of the unit is HEAVY but solid, and I love the multiple heights you can adjust it to. However, I feel like the base is over-engineered compared to the table top. The top is plastic and while it held up to the temps on the stoves on top of it, I'm almost positive a hot pan coming off the burners would destroy it in seconds. The plastic top was also unable to handle the weight of a 6 gallon water jug and just folded in between the support beams, so we had to move those to one of the more sturdy tables that was on the trip.

All in all I've been happy with my purchase and haven't come across any major issues personally. Nevertheless, I would rather pay a little more to get a metal table top that I know will be able to handle the abuse I throw at it.

Went on a hunting trip with fellow reviewer Perry H. and we had this awesome table holding down base camp for 4 days. I had to buy one for my own car camping needs the moment I got back to civilization and couldn't be more happy with my purchase!

The top on this table is far more durable than I initially thought and cleans up super easy. The feet on this are beyond stable and will hold a 7 gallon water jug on one side with out even thinking about tipping over.

At first glance, I thought this table was pretty damn big for just two people, but with a two burner stove on one side or a water jug, there are very ample room for food prep or campside bar setup.

The 3 height positions of the legs makes this suitable for my 5' 3" fiance all the way up to your Sasquatch sized buddies.

You will not be dissapointed with this purchase, set up is easy and storage bag is stout to boot.

    Nice Table

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this table for car camping and have used it a few times. Definitely a nice sturdy table. Sets up in a matter of minutes. I like that it packs up nice and small and doesn't take up a bunch of room in the Subi. I was expecting the table to be a little lighter but other then that I am happy with my purchase.

    Saddle up to the bar

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

A big table, for sure, great for car camping and entertaining, creates a mean buffet line for tacos with the grill on one end. Also, raises high enough to double as a bar or 'pong table if you're feeling so inclined.

    Loooove it!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Picked this table up for car camping. Main reasons I chose it were the price point and adjustable height settings. I have not been disappointing with the purchase at all!

At 6'3 I have to hunch over most tables. The tall bar height setting on this table is such a relief for me and my favorite part of product. It's great to have the option to cook at the tall height, sit down at the dinner table height, or go low for coffee table style. Adjustment is quick and painless. Setup takes two minutes. It folds away and packs into its bag easily. The feet remain stable on uneven ground. It can hold as much weight as you would ever need it to and then some. The removable top makes cleaning an easy process.

I don't have one bad thing to say about the table. I think it's the perfect size, love the easy adjustment factor, comes at a great price point, and I'm confident it will hold up for years to come. Couldn't be happier with the purchase!

    Unanswered Question

Can someone tell me what the top of the table looks like beneath the plastic cover? Better yet, a pic please! I'm trying to understand how supportive the table would be for small heavy items, like a glass of water. If the gaps between the steel are large, then I can see something like a glass of water sort of tipping over since it would just be held by the table cover. Thx, --Tan
