For summer mountaineering or backpacking in cold, wet conditions, the Alps Mountaineering Crescent Lake Sleeping Bag keeps you toasty without emptying your wallet in the process. The Crescent Lake features a two-layer offset construction that acts as a bag within the bag for better heat efficiency. Alps Mountaineering also added a chest baffle to increase warmth in the core area.

Bottom Line: When the temps dip and the weather’s wet, climb into the Crescent Lake.
