The AlpineAire Bandito Scramble proves that when camping, freeze dried and dehydrated meals are the way to go. If you own a cookstove or even just a pot and some matches, these freeze dried and dehydrated meals are the way to go. They're lightweight, compact, and super easy to prepare. The meals are packaged in resealable foil pouches. Most weigh between 5 and 7 ounces and offer 2 servings. To prepare a meal, just add a couple cups of hot water right to the pouch. A few minutes later you're ready to chow.
Bottom Line: You've made out like a bandit.
Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

Agree with Derek. Thought it was a clever title at first, to go with the five stars, but no, the "YUCK!!!" says it all.

I was really looking forward to this. I carried around 1lb of tortillas for a couple of days even just to have breakfast burritos. But this tasted really more...
Holy Bandito!
We cooked this when it was -7ºf and were pleasantly surprised! The instructions say to use cold water, mix it and then fry them up like you would more...
