If you’re tired of skating through pastures and gentle hills, get the Alpina X Terrain Ski and head up the mountain for a punishing uphill and exhilarating downhill. The up is easy with this lightweight ski’s P-Tex Posi-Grip base, which grabs the snow as you make strides up a trail or logging road. Steel edges, an alpine-esque side-cut, a wide shovel, and a wood and foam core give you the stability and turnability you need to have a good run back to the car through a foot of fresh powder.

This is my second pair of the cross terrains. The pair I had before was a few years older and not quite so beefy. This pair is incredible. Put a three pin cable binding on it, get a pair of plastic tele boots and go wherever you want. FUN.
The X Terrain sounds like a versatile ski, but does in come in
The X Terrain sounds like a versatile ski, but does in come in different stiffnesses? At what point would a skier's weight put to low to push the camber out and engage the Posi-Grip base, and conversly, what weight would be too heavy for the ski to slide and glide as it was intended to do? Thanks.
