When what looks like a grassy meadow turns out to be a mushy marsh, the Tibet's waterproof and breathable Sympatex insert will keep your foot dry, while the boot's hard-wearing nubuck upper will break in well over time and remain intact whether you're busting through bramble or hiking through dense stands of timber.

They say a boot is only as good as the sole it's built on, so Alpina gave the Tibet a solid Vibram rubber sole for reliable traction wherever you roam. The Tibet will also accommodate a wide foot thanks to a Volume Control Plate—a plate that sits under the insole—that can be removed to give more volume to the fit of the boot.
