The Masters Snowtour Telescopic Pole is a no-brainer if you're planning to explore the backcountry on hybrid skis. For cross-country sections the Snowtour can extend to give you a better push, and for downhill it shortens up to be a more manageable size. A synthetic cork grip is textured and molded to fit your hand comfortably and give you a solid hold on the pole. Masters replaceable baskets are the easiest to switch and the most secure in the industry, making the Snowtour the most versatile Nordic pole around.

I got these poles to replace a pair of Black Diamond flick locks I left in a guys truck that was nice enough to give me a ride down the canyon. Overall I've been impressed by their quality, and durability. They seem to be a touch lighter then the traverse poles. Also, the Voile snow saw fits nicely in the upper section.
